Latus Racing

George Latus is the owner of Team Latus Motors Harley Davidson/Buell dealership located in Gladstone Oregon. Originally from Montana, George has had a lifelong love of motorcycles and motorsports. After successfully running the Spokane, Washington Harley Davidson dealership, George was recruited by Harley Davidson to run the Gladstone location.

George is passionate about his pursuit of helping others to own motorcycles and to help in building the Harley Davidson/Buell brand. In so doing, George has established a reputation of those purchasing motorcycles from his dealerships to become more than just a customer...they become part of the the Team Latus Motors Team. By hosting various family events and training activities at the Team Latus Motors Harley Davidson/Buell dealerships, George helps new and established riders to become a community of riders within the area.

In addition to his successful Harley Davidson/Buell dealerships, George also is heavily involved in various racing activities. His racing involvement includes: the primary sponsorship of Joe Kopp and Brady Mueller, racers for the AMA Flat Track series, primary sponsorship of Josh Bryan and Alan Schmidt, racers for the AMA Pro Road Racing series and primary sponsorship for Steve Dorn, Top Fuel racer for the All Harley Drag Racing series. George Latus also had racers compete on Buell motorcycles at the 2nd oldest racing event in the country, the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

Latus’ involvement in racing stems from a love of competition, love of seeing the new racers on top Harley Davidson/Buell equipment and as he said, “the motorcycle business has been very good to me and this is a way of giving back”.
